Students are going through a process of transition into secondary school. They are developing relationships within a Core Group with students from other schools and with their English teacher. In this unit, students will reflect on their skills as a reader, writer, speaker and listener and viewer. The Independent Reading program will be introduced. This unit will be undertaken at the beginning of the Year 8 English course.
